SAFETY ON OR OFF-ROAD
The safety of you and your passengers is paramount. The Musso Rhino is equipped to cope with extremes. Its safety measures are cutting edge and built-in to provide maximum security and reassurance in the most testing environments. The numbers all stack up.
Six airbags are strategically positioned throughout the cabin driver and passenger up front, side airbags for torso protection, and curtain airbags that deploy along the roofline. In the event of an impact, the system responds in milliseconds to protect every occupant.
Braking aids
Electronic stability programme (esp)
When grip starts to go, ESP steps in. It constantly reads road conditions and vehicle behaviour, adjusting engine output and braking in real time to keep the Musso Rhino on the line you intended even when the surface beneath you has other ideas.
electronic brakeforce distribution (ebd)
Whether you're loaded up or running light, EBD automatically balances brake force between the front and rear wheels. The result is consistent, controlled stopping regardless of what you're carrying.
Brake assist system (BAS)
In an emergency, most drivers don't brake hard enough. BAS detects the urgency of the situation and immediately applies maximum braking force closing the gap between reaction and a safe stop.
blind spot detection
This safety feature senses vehicles coming up in the blind spot behind, the system warns with a flashing light on the outside mirror.
rear cross traffic warning
Using rear-corner radars, the system helps to prevent backing into cross traffic by providing alerts when vehicles are detected.
Trailer sway control
Improves stability by detecting and automatically stabilising yaw-movement and sway of the trailer whilst being towed by the vehicle.
lane change collision warning
LCCW detects vehicles rapidly approaching from behind and flashes a warning light on the outside mirror, to alert the driver.
